Welcome to

St. John Fisher School

We are the only secondary school in Medway offering a genuinely comprehensive, faith-based education. We are proud to teach both genders, and pupils of all abilities, from those with significant special educational needs to students who will leave our sixth form to go on to Oxbridge universities.

We are a community dedicated to excellence in learning. We have subject specialist teachers across all subjects of our wide-ranging curriculum. Our highly qualified staff work with parents and carers to ensure that students succeed; many staff have stayed with us for years.

The sixth form leadership team has now begun delivering post-16 guidance sessions to the Year 10 cohort. These sessions take place during form time in the Sixth Form Private Study Room and are designed to give students an early insight into sixth-form life. Students are encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussions around expectations, opportunities, and the effective study habits required to be successful at post-16 level.Following the success of these sessions with the Year 11 cohort, the programme has now been extended to Year 10 students to support early preparation and informed decision-making. The sessions aim to raise aspirations, build confidence, and help students develop a clear understanding of the transition to sixth form, ensuring they are well equipped for the next stage of their academic journey. #Leaders #RoleModels Medway Council CAFOD in Westminster
